In the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside our two lakes provide the perfect setting for both experienced anglers and those simply looking to enjoy a relaxing day by the water.

What Can You Catch?

Our well-maintained lakes are stocked with a rich variety of coarse fish:

🎣 Carp ranging from ½ lb to 9 lb

🎣 Bream up to 6 lb

🎣 Tench up to 5 lb

🎣 Roach up to 1.5 lb

🎣 Crucian carp up to 3 lb

🎣 Rudd averaging 1 lb +

Fishing at Brickyard Lakes is strictly catch-and-return, ensuring healthy stocks and the long-term sustainability of our waters. The lakes are surrounded by natural reed beds, mature trees and open countryside, attracting a wealth of wildlife and making every session calm and scenic.

Fishing Rules

To ensure a great experience for all, please follow these rules:

  • Fishing hours: 8 AM to dusk.
  • Dip nets before matches.
  • Keepnets for matches only.
  • Barbless hooks only; no plastic or cat/dog meat baits.
  • Supervise rods (max two per person).
  • EA rod licence required.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied.
  • Keep the site clean; no fish removal or shouting across the lake.
